RAIL: The nearest train stations are Bath Spa (40 minutes), Bristol Templemeads (40 minutes) or Castle Cary (25 minutes)

BUS: Wells is easily reached by public transport with regular bus services to and from Bath (Badgerline 173) and Bristol (Badgerline 376).  National Express coaches travel direct to Heathrow Airport and London Victoria (National Express403)

AIR: Bristol Airport is 30 minutes away and has regular scheduled to all parts of the UK and Europe.

ROAD From London From the M4 leave the motorway at Junction 19 (M32).  In Bristol follow signs for Wells (A47) OR From the M3 leave the motorway at Junction 8 and join the A303 westwards.  Follow signs for Warminster (A36), then Frome (A362), then Shepton Mallet (A361) and the Wells (A371).

From the South West From the M5 leave the motorway at Junction 23 and join the A49 eastwards following signs for Wells.

From the West Midlands From the M5 leave at Junction 20 and take the M4 eastwards and leave the motorway at Junction 19 (M32). In Bristol follow signs for Wells A37.
